GETTING STARTED VIDEOS: BUYING A DOMAIN AND FORWARDING IT!
As you begin almost any online business program, whether its MLM, Direct Sales or even an affiliate program, you will begin to notice the "get your own domain" buzz...
What is a domain? Essentially, a domain is the web address people type on their browsers to reach a particular site. IE: typing www.AymeeBuckhannon.com would get you to my site.
When you are dealing with online programs, almost all will give you your very own website to promte. However, that website name is usually either very long, very difficult to re-type and it shows your affiliate number on it. So, it is highly recommended that you always get your own domain to use with affiliates...Here is an added trick for you... you do not need to get a million domains for each program you have (unless it just makes logical sense), You can always get ONE main domain, such as your name, then create up to 99 subdomains that point to each of your programs... for free :).
Example:
Domain name: www.OnlineBusinessTrainer.com Subdomain 1: http://BLOG.OnlineBusinessTrainer.com <- points to my blog Subdomain 2: http://safari.OnlineBusinessTrainer.com <--points to a traffic exchange

MANUAL EXCHANGES AKA TRAFFIC ROTATORS
A quick word to those who will listen: As you surf these traffic rotators you will find advertisements for many, many, many other opportunities... INCLUDING invitations to participate in AUTO ROTATORS (aka AUTO SURFS)... Hear me out on these "STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM AUTOSURFS".
Ok so What is a Manual Traffic Rotator?
Simply stated: it is a website that allows all of its members to include a link to their website(s) of preference to be shown through this rotator. Everyone who logs into the rotator and views other people's sites, earns a certain amount of credits. You can then use these credits to put your site on the rotator for others to look at. Although the manual rotators require that you physically click to move to the next page, they are on a timer. Once the timer runs out (usually 10 seconds per page) you can click to the next site. Here is a video on Traffic Exchanges and below the video is a list of the ones that I use simply because the have the best surf to credit ratio and have converted the best for me.
